From the first angle presented in the first part of the book, electronic music brought striking novelties to the music world. However, novelties were not the only happening involved. There was yet another happening: a rejuvenation of ancient virtues which were lost during the course of XX century. Most importantly, this was the re-discovery of elemental power of pure music on its own ground, and achievement of a level of musicianship that overcame multiple divisions inside the cluttered modern musical space.

Introduction to the First Chapter

In the first chapter of this second part, we will follow how musical art during XX century passed through a decay, to on the end rise from its ashes again.
